DOJO AI raises $6M to build the first intelligent marketing system
DOJO Team

DOJO AI has raised a $6 million seed round at a $30 million valuation. The round was led by Armilar, with participation from Heartfelt VC, and the funding goes toward expanding our multi-agent AI capabilities and accelerating growth in the United States.
We serve over 100 brands across the US and UK, including CoinDesk, MorningStar, PensionBee, Broadvoice, CovertSwarm, and Refine Labs. We've grown 20% month-on-month since launch. And we're just getting started.
Here's what this means, and why we built what we built.
The problem wasn't data. It was intelligence.
Marketing teams today are drowning in data. The average team runs 12 or more tools. None of them share context. None of them act on what they know. Someone is paying for all of them every month, and still spending half their time stitching together reports, briefing agencies, and making decisions based on yesterday's numbers.
The ceiling on what a marketing team could achieve was never budget. It was intelligence.
That's the problem DOJO was built to solve.
What is agentic marketing?
Agentic marketing is what happens when AI doesn't just report on your marketing performance — it acts on it.
Not "here's what happened last week." Not a dashboard you log into on Mondays. A system that watches every channel continuously, surfaces what needs attention before you've asked, and executes workflows across paid, organic, SEO, and content without waiting to be prompted.
Most AI marketing tools are reactive. They respond when you ask. Agentic marketing is proactive. It's already done the reading by the time you open your laptop.
DOJO is an intelligent marketing system built on this principle. At its core is the DOJO Graph: a living knowledge graph that builds a continuously updated model of your brand's entire marketing reality. Every channel, campaign, competitor movement, and customer signal flows in. Specialized agents reason on that graph, ship real work, and feed every outcome back into the model. The whole system compounds: better data makes better agents, better agents ship better work, better work refines the entire system.
Most AI resets. DOJO compounds.
Why we built it this way
DOJO AI was founded by Duarte Garrido and António Alegria in August 2024.
Duarte spent 15 years leading marketing at global brands including Coca-Cola and Sky. He experienced the fragmentation problem from the inside: brilliant marketing teams, drowning in point solutions, unable to act on the intelligence they were sitting on.
António built the data and AI architecture at Feedzai and OutSystems — two companies that scaled to unicorn valuations with Armilar's backing — and saw the same gap from the technical side. The infrastructure to solve this problem existed. Nobody had built it for marketing.
That combination of deep domain experience and technical depth is what makes DOJO possible. And it's why Armilar backed us again.
What our customers see
The results aren't marginal. They're the kind of numbers that change how a team operates:
79% drop in cost per acquisition — MorningStar (Michelle Mendoza)
3x conversion volume in the same 23-day window — MorningStar
20 hours saved per month, returned to strategy — MorningStar
15x faster marketing reporting — Ozone API (Katie Hayes)
3x more efficient Google Ads quarter-on-quarter — Ecologi (Andrea Piras)
200%+ improvement in performance efficiency quarter-on-quarter — Ecologi
40% drop in acquisition costs — Broadvoice (Malachi Threadgill)
290% increase in content output — Broadvoice
67% increase in partner-sourced pipeline — Broadvoice
2x content produced in half the time — PensionBee US (Nicole De Fusco)
These aren't edge cases. This is what happens when a marketing team stops being reactive and starts operating with a system that never stops watching, learning, and acting.
Why Armilar led this round
Pedro Ribeiro Santos, Managing Partner at Armilar, on why they backed DOJO:
"DOJO AI's approach to marketing technology is transformative. With founders that combine deep domain knowledge and field experience in this space with some of the best talent to build the technology from first principles, we're confident in their vision and proud to partner with them as they expand a platform that is redefining how companies turn marketing data into actionable decisions."
Armilar has been backing foundational technology companies out of Portugal since 2000. They backed Feedzai. They backed OutSystems. They understand what it looks like when a technical team has the right combination of domain depth, architectural ambition, and timing. That's why this partnership matters to us.
Heartfelt VC, Europe's first-cheque fund and early backer of N26 and DeepL, rounds out the round.
What this funding does
The $6 million goes toward two things:
Deeper autonomy. We're strengthening our multi-agent capabilities to handle more complex use cases end-to-end — not just surfacing the insight, but executing the full workflow, learning from the outcome, and compounding the intelligence.
US expansion. Demand in the US market is growing fast. Most of our 100+ customers are already there. This funding accelerates our presence, our team, and our infrastructure to match that demand.
