Connect Slack to dojo

dojo is an intelligent marketing system: it connects the channels you already run, builds a living picture of the brand, and puts specialised agents on the work. Slack is where the team already decides launch dates, headlines, and what to kill. This app lets a workspace member connect Slack from dojo so those agents can work with the messages and files they can already see — without copying that work into another tool.

What this app does

After you Allow, dojo searches the public and private channels you can already access, and reads channel and thread history so an answer reflects the whole discussion. Search runs as you, limited by your existing Slack permissions. We use that context alongside your other marketing sources (for example Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, email, and web analytics) so agents can explain results in terms of what the team actually decided — not only what the ads platforms report.

dojo can also put work back into Slack as you: send a message, upload a report or export, add a reaction, publish a brief or readout as a canvas, track follow-ups in a Slack List, or create a channel for a campaign or launch. Each of these happens only when you ask for that specific action, and only in conversations you can already reach.

dojo does not read or send direct messages or group DMs, and cannot change workspace settings, roles, or who belongs to the workspace. We do not train models on your Slack workspace data.

dojo uses AI agents. They can be wrong. Check important answers before you act on them.

How to install

Connect Slack from dojo. Installing the app in Slack by itself does not finish setup.

Log in to app.dojoai.com.
Open Connections and choose Slack.
Click Connect and Allow the workspace you want to use.
You return to dojo with Slack connected. Agents can then work with the channels and files you already have access to.

You need a dojo account. If you do not have one yet, book a demo and we will get you set up.

Permissions

dojo asks Slack for:

Search messages, files, and people across the public and private channels you belong to
Read channel and thread history in those channels
View people in the workspace, so results can be attributed to the right person
Send messages as you, in channels you can already access
Upload and read files, such as reports and exports
Add reactions
Create and update canvases
Create and update Slack Lists
Create a public or private channel when you ask for one

Revoke access any time in Slack → Apps, or disconnect Slack in dojo. That immediately ends our access.
